Trick or treat
Seems like back in the day, we would go trick or treating around the neighborhood streets near where I grew up in Tulsa on Halloween night, and that was it.
If Halloween happened to be a Tuesday, so be it. We had a little more excitement that day and then back to it the next day at school. In fact I seem to commonly remember it almost falling in the middle of a week somehow.
Now it seems like kids have tons of choices, from churches around town to cities having events to the old-school trick or treat nights. And with OU football pushing Norman’s night up from the 31st to the 30th, you could even go drive to another town like Moore and get some good action in on the 31st also.
A lot of dentists may be in big business in the next few months if there isn’t some serious tooth brushing being done.
