To wrap or not to wrap
One of the Christmas traditions at my house growing up was that the presents were not wrapped.
We would go to bed Christmas Eve and wake up the next morning with the unwrapped gifts and goodies under the tree. My brother’s would be to the left side and mine to the right. (Interesting since he’s become much more of a Republican than me, but I digress.)
And it’s surprised me how many people I’ve talked to this month that have been shocked that we didn’t open up the presents. They think the wrapping and unwrapping is the best part.
For the record, we did still have wrapped presents at my grandparents’ house, but the excitement of walking in and seeing what “Santa” had left was a big deal.
So what do you think? Wrap or not to wrap?
